Village Outreach Society (VOS) listens to the neglected poor in rural southern India. We act on need, working on a personal level to aid small businesses, creating sustainable incomes and support projects that benefit the whole community. More...
What makes our charity unique?
VOS is unique in that we - the trustees - offer our time and skills voluntarily to realise the charity’s mission. We incur mininal expense travelling to India, to work directly with the village leaders and residents to ensure that the money you donate goes to the people that need it most. We conduct village surveys to establish the households in the most abject poverty, help to develop sustainable businesses, assist schools with basic needs and identify community projects that will have the greatest impact on day to day life.
